NCSL U-15 Boys
LMVSC U-15 Boys are professionally coached by Coach Sasso. Coach Sasso, our new coach, will utilize his coaching experience and leadership to help us move forward within NCSL. We are looking for motivated and experienced players at all positions. We are seeking committed players that play at a competitive level and want to develop as individuals both on and off the field as the team works towards advancing divisions. We train year round. Spring plans include the NCSL season and at least two tournaments. Coach Sasso's qualifications include playing professionally for 12 yearsand playing on Lebanon's National team for 8 years.
Tryouts will be conducted January 23 and 24 at Lee District Park from 11:00 until 1:00 and at regular winter training sessions. NCSL U-13 Boys
LMVSC Patriots U13 boys are looking for 3 field players for the upcoming Spring season. The Patriots compete in the NCSL Div. 3 and are coached by Ivana Bulirova and Tony Damiani. Patriot training is player centric, focusing on the total (technical and tactical) development of the individual player. We support ODP and other elite soccer training opportunities. NCSL U-12 Boys
LMVSC Arsenalis a U-12 team that will play in the NCSL Division 4 in the spring. All players have a birth date on or after August 1, 1997. The team is holding tryouts for experienced soccer players who would like to start training with the team over the winter to get ready for the spring season. Coach Paul Ngend trains the team and emphasizes technical skills and ball movement. Coach Paul played professional soccer, has coached a national championship and numerous state championship teams, and is the East Coast's European Recruiter for professional soccer. ODSL U-12 Boys
Interested in playing travel soccer? The LMVSC Patriots Blue (11-12 year old boys with birthdays between 01 Aug 1997 and 31 Jul 1998) will hold rolling tryouts for the upcoming Spring 2010 ODSL season every Wednesday from 1730-1900 at Lee District. We are looking for boys interested in developing their skills, being part of a team and competing with players from around the area. We focus on player growth, team concepts, intelligent play, fitness and (most importantly) fun. The Patriots are coached by Jud von Kolnitz (tjmmvonk@cox.net) and Kevin Gaynor (kevin.gaynor@cox.net). The LMVSC Patriots ’99 Boys are conducting Open Tryouts to discover committed players born after Aug 1, 1999. Our teams, located in Alexandria (and surrounding areas of Springfield and South County), are led by Head Coach Chris Gallant (USSF national D license) and trained professionally. Training is focused on the long-term approach to developing each player's technical ability while encouraging creativity and decision-making. A positive team culture is emphasized through continual education of players, coaches and parents. The Patriots' year round program will include indoor training during the winter as well as pre- and post-season tournaments. WAGS U-9 Girls
LMVSC U9G travel team (for players born 8/1/2000 to 7/31/2001) currently seeks enthusiastic and committed players to join us for the upcoming Spring 2010 season. The Patriots play in the Washington Area Girls Soccer League (WAGS). The team is coached by Zanna Heidrich who has been coaching for over 10 years, holds a USSF D and National Youth License, and by assistant coach Jose Rodriguez. We focus on building positive athletes through fun and challenging age-appropriate training sessions. Time commitments are very reasonable allowing players to participate in other activities. Costs are kept to a minimum. This is an excellent environment for young athletes to improve their individual soccer skills, teamwork skills, and fitness level. The end goal is for the players to have so much fun they will love and play soccer for the rest of their lives.
