Tryouts
Tryouts will be held during team practices at the dates and times below. Players are judged on overall athleticism, especially speed and agility, attitude and coach-ablity. Players are encouraged to attend more than one tryout.
 

• Tuesdays: May 28 and June 4, 5:00-6:30pm, Franconia Park, 6432 Bowie Drive, Springfield, VA
• Thursdays, May 30 June 6, 5:00-6:30pm, Lee District Park, 6601 Telegraph Rd Alexandria, VA

Players should be rising 4th graders, born after August 1, 2003 and before July 31, 2004. If you are outside of this age range and interested in trying out, contact the coach or team manager.

Our Coach
The Girls Rising U-10 Patriot’s coach, Michelle Dierkes, has been a Head Coach for Lee Mount Vernon Soccer Club since 1998, an Assistant Coach for LMVSC’s U19 team for three years, a Junior Varsity Head Coach for two seasons at TC Williams High School, and an Assistant Varsity Coach at Fairfax High School.

Coach Dierkes is USSF C Licensed and holds a NSCAA National Diploma.

The Rising U10 Team
We currently have one team, which plays in WAGS (Washington Area Girls Soccer). We plan to field two teams for the coming Fall season and encourage your daughter to try out to be part of this up-and-coming group.

Our TEAM PHILOSOPHY is to foster skill development in a positive atmosphere, with an emphasis on soccer fundamentals, friendship, and fun.
